Ex-Cost.org is a Seattle based non-profit organization tasked with tracking externalized costs around the globe. These costs include social, economical and environmental impacts that affect every person on the planet. Each of these types of costs are explained within the “Our Data” section of this website. Our goal is to provide a global balance book in the three (3) areas we are tracking so the full impact of these costs can be totaled and evaluated. These buried costs have been accruing for centuries, and are coming due for all life on this planet.

Please feel free to browse and consider becoming a contributor to our organization. The task we have accepted is more than a small group can get their arms around. But it isn’t too large a task if we all get involved. Many of our planet’s peoples are unaware of what the net sum and net effect of these costs are… or will become. The purveyors of these costs have enjoyed a comfortable anonymity for centuries but the costs have gone geometric over the last few decades with governments, social support and the natural world struggling under the burden. For those that feel this bill is the price of a pizza, get ready for a bill that would better suit several kilo’s of caviar.
